Ocorian launch global induction programme30 Jan 2019
As a global business, there is no substitute for face to face time, and the quarterly, regional inductions have been introduced to ensure that all new joiners get to meet and ask questions of the key members of the management team.
The inductions also relay Ocorian's business strategy, operations and values, highlighting the positive impact new employees can have on the business and giving them a rounded understanding of the business and development opportunities available to them.
The day included presentations from members of each of our departments (Marketing, Risk & Compliance, HR, IT and Group Operations) and service lines including Private Client, Alternative Investments and Corporate & Institutional.
Following the inaugural induction, Emma Sanford, Global Head of Learning and Development said: "Our pilot induction day was a great success, attendees enjoyed learning more about our strategy and the activities of the different divisions, as well as the opportunity to network with colleagues from across the business. We will take the learning and feedback from the session to create a really engaging and informative experience that can be rolled out to new starters in all locations.
